The OptEnet™ 10/100Mb/s optical Ethernet conversion line cards are designed to convert optical signals to electrical signals.

The line cards have an auto negotiation feature allowing them to detect and synchronise with either a 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX signal. The cards support 10BASE-T and 100BASE-T data rates over UTP and singlemode or multimode fibre.
